Our focus on research equity means more patients have opportunities to take part in important clinical trials, such as those for various cancers, and that under-represented populations are being better included in medical research.
St Vincent’s Sydney Health Innovation Precinct is a highly developed example of what co-located clinical and research infrastructure and deep organisational collaboration can deliver.
Within these flagships our Precinct delivers nationally and internationally recognised ‘best in class’ clinical outcomes, research impact and education. The essential foundation to our work is equity in health and research.
We are not limited by a local health district border. The scale of our impact starts with patients from across Sydney, and incorporates specialist services for priority populations.
Our National impact through our Precinct Partners means more equitable access to healthcare and research such as clinical trials, and therefore greater clinical outcomes for patients across Australia.
Through our International research relationships and collaborations we deliver world-first innovations. We seek to share our knowledge and expertise to improve health outcomes in other countries.
