Our Precinct is on the ancestral land of the Gadigal People of the Eora Nation.

We acknowledge the many different traditional countries and language groups of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Peoples that work and visit us here.

We also acknowledge that our partnerships and engagements happen across many different lands.

As a principal referral and teaching hospital, St Vincent’s houses several specialty units, including heart and lung transplantation, bone marrow transplantation, cardiology, cancer care, AIDS/HIV, respiratory medicine, mental health, and drug and alcohol services.

In addition, guided by the Mission of the founding Sisters of Charity, the Hospital is committed to prioritising care for vulnerable populations, providing fair and equitable care for all the communities they serve.

Since the opening of the first St Vincent’s Private Hospital Sydney in 1909, it has worked in partnership with specialist doctors to build a strong culture of excellence and compassion in healthcare. Today, it provides respectful, research-driven care to patients in the private system, treating some of the most vulnerable people in the Australian community with contemporary techniques and technology.

St Vincent’s Clinic is a multidisciplinary specialist clinic of excellence, providing a comprehensive range of investigative, diagnostic and therapeutic services for patients referred for healthcare. Combining both clinical research and community services, the Clinic serves people in need through compassionate and diverse services, held to high ethical standards and underpinned by evidence-based research and education.
